First non fashion related post of the blog.  Always a first for everything, and one of many to come; variety is the spice of life afterall.  This past tuesday, me and a few University friends decided to have a little adventure around Chester, since they'd still not taken time to explore it, and I was in some ways, a Cestrian veteran!

We set off at around 1pm for a wander around town, camera in tow- taking in the river, venturing all of 10 metres into Handbridge (needless to say they weren't too impressed with it), exploring the Roman Gardens and Grosvenor park, then the obligatory Eastgate clock snaps.  I'm pretty proud of some of the photographs I took.

I'm especially proud of the above photo, especially taking into account that other than crafty shots around town and a few live gigs for friends' bands, I have no photography experience.  This is Chester's famous Eastgate clock bridge across the main street.  Instantly recognisable to anyone with knowledge of Chester, and a perfect place for people watching on the street below.

And here, we have the view from the above Clock Bridge.  Eastgate street wth an early autumn sunset.  Don't you just love the mixture of old buildings, the elaborate brick facades contrasting with the black and white mock tudor ones.
